So, I visited Seattle again! Sooner than I thought, this time to attend the MVP Summit. I got to meet all the other SharePoint MVPs from around the world. We had some fantastic sessions with the SP Product Group where we learned about the future product roadmap as well as the opportunity to provide feedback to some of the new features and capabilities being planned.

We visited the Redmond Microsoft campus for key product group sessions where we got insights to how each product group within SharePoint lead and how they plan their feature prioritisations for launch.  It was two full days of very intense talks, discussions and constructive feedback sessions direct with the various product groups at Redmond campus. I had the opportunity to meet up with CJ and Ryan from the product group as well as other team members.

We had a SharePoint MVP party hosted by Brad Smith, Bob Fox and Eric Shupps (aka SP Cowboy) on the last day at Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue.

I had a very good time meeting with a great team of people who are both professional and multi-talented.
