As I write this I am on my way to Amsterdam. For those who have been following me I visited Europe last year, this was due to a few things which I won’t go into the details here.

Current status is that I have exited the business that I co-founded in 2008 and its associated entities as of December 2014. Nothing like having a clean slate to kick off a new year.

I am generally an optimist; however, I would be lying if I said that the last few years since 2011 have been smooth sailing. The upside is that I learnt a lot of what was important for me. I am leaving what I started in very capable hands and a great group of passionate people, the growth and opportunities for the business is evident. Starting and owning a business has undoubtedly been the best growth experience.

What now, to be honest this is a bit of a journey, partly personal partly expanding my experience outside of my current known comfort zone a bit. I will be working with the team at Rapid Circle based in Amsterdam. Many thanks to Daniel for this opportunity.
